Description
Verbage Definition in Turbo Policy is where static verbage for commitment and policy exceptions, requirements, and vesting's are defined. Defining static verbage here allows you to save time creating policies by choosing from a pre-defined library of exceptions, requirements, and vesting's.

To Define Verbage
1. Click the Define Verbage icon or use the Ctrl+F shortcut to bring up the Verbage Definition editor.
2. Indicate whether the verbage will relate to exceptions, requirements, or vesting's by selecting from the dropdown field at the top of the Verbage Definition editor.
3. Click the New Verbage icon or use the F4 key to bring up a new form and enter a new Name (the Name can also be thought of as a Code, Abbreviation, or another type of Identification for the verbage being written in the Name field).
NOTE: Each name must be unique from every other Name defined for that type (Exceptions, Requirements, Vesting's). If the name entered is not unique, you may encounter an Error 7057 Record Update Failed.

5. In the Verbage Text Field, enter the verbage desired. Predefined and/or custom made merge fields can be added to the verbage as desired. To add a merge field, press Ctrl+F to open the merge filed editor.
